Comfortably numb

Ugh, I feel stupid right now... I drank too much last night and my brain hasn't started to function yet. I even got to sleep from 4am until 8 pm today. Nice:) Royal Oak was pretty cool, even though Teri and Patrick never showed. What happened? Did you guys crash into a ditch? Get carjacked? Oh well. The band at Memphis Smoke was ok. What happens to older white people that makes them think they can dance. No wonder black folk don't like us. Anyway, after that we watched an awesome lightning show on the back patio. Went to Mr. B's and tried to shoot darts but there were a bunch of huge guys playing. But there was a midget playing pool, rock on! Tonight before work I stopped by Barry's party. Not for long, I had to get to Dunkin Donuts to grab my coffee so I could feel somewhat awake. Didn't really work, but worth a try.

This week has been weird, grandma sick, rewriting resumes for people with no skills, watching people puke in the bushes. The county is hiring someone to program upstairs, I'm wondering if I should apply. Would make over $50,000 to start! Now that ain't bad!! Not that I don't love my operator job, but that would be nice to bring home almost 2 grand a pay period! Started looking for houses too. I think I want to live in Lake Orion. You can have a bonfire pit there. Can't do that in Royal Oak. I need to get out of Pontiac bad. My best neighbors are moving at the end of the year, and the crappy ones are going to rent out theirs. Can't wait to see what type of crap would "rent" in Pontiac.

I work alone tonight, and the next 2 nights. This sucks, I have nobody to yell at! Then Wednesday it's off to the U.P. for vacation! Shoulda been going to Tom Petty Wed. night but I thought that I was going to be taking that damned A+ class. I gave my tickets to Anderson in exchange for my ticket to Velvet Revolver in Mount Pleasant, then found out that I could've gone to Petty. So I have missed CCR and now Tom Petty. Dammit. Oh well, Lyn's cabin is on a lake up there so we are gonna swim and be lazy. We're going to take a bunch of board games and be dorks. Can't wait!!! Then Saturday is Gerri's wedding. Another one bites the dust!!

4 more hours, then homeward bound.
